PLEASE NOTE

For your safety and to ensure the best results, we strongly recommend that you do not undergo waxing if you are currently using any of the following medications or skincare products, as they can make your skin more sensitive and prone to injury:

  1. Retin-A (Tretinoin) – A prescription topical treatment for acne and anti-aging.
  2. Accutane (Isotretinoin) – Oral medication used for severe acne.
  3. Topical Antibiotics (e.g., Clindamycin, Erythromycin) – These can weaken skin and increase sensitivity.
  4. Hydrocortisone or other steroid creams – Can thin the skin, making it more vulnerable to damage.
  5. Benzoyl Peroxide or Salicylic Acid – Common acne treatments that can irritate or dry out the skin.
  6. AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) and BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acids) – Exfoliating agents that may increase skin sensitivity.
  7. Other Retinoids (Adapalene, Tazarotene, etc.) – Similar to Retin-A, these products can make the skin thinner and more delicate.

Why should you avoid waxing with these products?

These medications can make your skin more fragile, increase the likelihood of irritation, or cause post-waxing burns, rashes, or peeling. It’s recommended to stop using these products at least 7–10 days before your waxing appointment to ensure the skin is fully healed and not compromised.

*If you are unsure about the products you are using or need further guidance, please consult with your Esthetician before proceeding with waxing.
